Damon Cleghorn
Damon Cleghorn, lead singer of CrossPoint, lives in Redfield , Arkansas with wife Keela, daughters Avorie and Emery, and son Ethan. Like his brother Kevin, Damon is no stranger to gospel music. His musical career began with The Cleghorns when he was a teenager, but Damon found that at the time, he was not very interested in singing. He felt the Lord calling him in a different direction. He left the family group to serve in ministry in his church as home group pastor. Damon later joined Men of Faith quartet and eventually found his home with CrossPoint. “Singing with these guys every week…it just doesn’t get any better that this, and for that…I apologize. Really, I am living my dream with CrossPoint. I could not ask for a better group of guys to share this part of my life with. After all the miles traveled, dates sung, and equipment loaded, there is no one I would rather share the journey with.” Damon’s high energy manner, modest sincerity, and peculiar sense of humor, added to his spectacular singing and songwriting abilities make him perfectly suited for CrossPoint’s mission. One minute Damon has the crowd (and his cronies) bowled over with laughter, and the next, he has them on their knees. He truly has a gift for appealing to the emotions of all who listen. “I am living my dream with CrossPoint. The doctor says that one day the nightmares will end! HAHAHA!”
…and the most frightening part is….he’s a twin!
