Brian Clark

Brian ClarkBrian Clark joined CrossPoint as tenor in June of 2007.  He resides in the community of Gurdon, Arkansas with his wife, Cena and two daughters, Hallie and Kelsey Jo.  Brian’s love of gospel music began at an early age, as his parents were involved in the music ministry in their church. “Music was always something that was present in my life, so when I felt the Lord’s call to ministry, there was no hesitation.  I knew what I had to do.  My life has been richly blessed because I chose to obey God.

Brian attended the Charles Novell School Music and continually receives training from vocal coach Marti Ledford of Nashville, Tennessee.  “Marti has taught me so much about the connection between spirituality and talent.  She has been a huge part of my success because I know that I never “arrive”.  I have to keep working and pushing myself to represent Jesus Christ to the most excellent degree possible.  I owe Him that.  We all do.

Brian’s vocal ability is, in a word, stunning, thus the pet name “Freak” has been lovingly assigned to him by Kevin and the guys.  He has a range that can be equaled by few, and his versatility has provided limitless musical choices for CrossPoint.  “The great thing about singing with these guys is that every one of us has depth.  We can sing the old convention classics and then turn around and lift the roof off with an a cappella hymn or a powerful, progressive ballad.  Singing with CrossPoint is not only spiritually rewarding for me, but it is also a whole lot of fun. I couldn’t ask for more than this!
